Terms and Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and Lunamar Labs, LLC (“we”, “us”), which operates Tarot Decoded. By using the app you agree to them. Please read them, and if you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

1. What Tarot Decoded is

Tarot Decoded teaches tarot: the cards, their meanings, spreads and how to read cards together. It also offers readings, a journal and a birth chart for reflection.

Tarot and astrology in this app are for learning, reflection and entertainment. They do not predict the future, and nothing in the app is medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other professional advice. Please don’t make important decisions based on a reading, and talk to a qualified professional about health, legal, money or safety matters. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tarot Decoded. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

3. Your content

Your journal entries, notes, readings, progress and birth details belong to you. They are stored on your phone. If you choose to sign in, they are also stored in your account so they can be restored on another phone. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the app for you. You are responsible for what you write.

4. Accounts

Signing in is optional. If you create an account, keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time from the app or by contacting us.

5. Premium subscriptions

Some features are part of Premium, a paid subscription.

  • Payment is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their terms, and charged to your store account.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
  • If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
  • Prices and what Premium includes may change. We will tell you before a price change affects your renewal.

6. Our content

The app, its card art, lessons, readings, games, design and text are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. You may use them only inside the app for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t copy, sell, or redistribute them, or try to take the app apart.

7. Using the app fairly

Don’t use Tarot Decoded to break the law, to harm others, to interfere with the app or its services, or to get access you aren’t meant to have.

8. Changes and availability

We keep improving the app and may change, add or remove features. We try to keep it available but can’t promise it will always work without interruption. We may suspend access for anyone who seriously breaks these terms.

9. Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the app will be error-free or meet your needs, or that any reading, meaning or chart is accurate or suitable for any purpose.

10. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Apple and Google

These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and we, not they, are responsible for the app and its content. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

12. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live gives you rights that can’t be waived.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes matter, the app will ask you to agree again. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
